Brookwood HS will dismiss all students early on Friday, May 9th, for district-wide teacher professional development. Our main campus will dismiss at 12:00 PM and secondary campuses at 12:30 PM.

Birmingham is gearing up for The Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix🏎️ this weekend — and Minor Middle School students got a head start on the action! One of the Indy cars made a pit stop at the school, giving students a close-up look at the sleek vehicle. Mr. Wayne broke down the vehicle's mechanics and surprised students with some surprising details. Fun fact: If an Indy car gets caught in the rain, it will literally fill up with water because there is nowhere for it to drain out!🤯
